Every project, business, romantic relationship, or partnership has its own birth chart, and the Sun and Earth are the most crucial factors in that chart.

Every day can vary in its propensity for a successful outcome. Some days are better for love, and some are better for money, but your own chart's transits are the most important. However, when you have great transits and also pick a great day to start something new, the magic happens!

The Sun or Earth is the most important body in any chart, so understanding their most significant alignments can help you make better choices about the best days to begin something new, if and only if, your chart agrees.

August 1 - 3 An Earth and Ceres trine offers a suitable atmosphere for savvy financial decisions. Meanwhile, Chiron stations square to Juno, so you could be out of step with what the public or a loved one wants.

Aug 3 Chiron Rx at 0.88 Taurus

Aug 3-6 The Sun trine Saturn is a good time to exercise self discipline, but not a good time to start something new. Perhaps you can quit smoking or start a diet, or successfully organize your file cabinet.

Aug 7-10 A medium strength time for romance, fun, and meeting new people.

Aug 12 Solar Eclipse (Total) at 20 Leo New starts always arrive with a New Moon, but an eclipse can put the emphasis on stoppages and blocks. Wait for better timing if you must initiate something important.

Aug 20-22 Great time to launch anything short term that requires public acceptance or to charm your way to the top. Check your chart--if your transits have love or money highlighted you might meet the one or have an introduction that upgrades your career.

Aug 23-25 Anything new that you put into motion could experience resistance and reversals.

Aug 27–28 Lunar Eclipse (Partial) 4.9 Pisces/Virgo The old wise astrologers from ancient times always advised their clients to steer clear of new beginnings when there was an eclipse.Wrap things up on this full moon. You might be surprised by what comes to light.

THE TERMINATOR

Where is Sarah Connor when we need her?

The film, The Terminator, was released in 1984. A cyborg assassin (portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger) assigned to kill Sarah Connor was sent back in time to 1984 from 2029.

Alert! 2029 is only three years from now!

Sarah Connor's unborn son, John, is fated to lead the resistance that overthrows Skynet, an AI computer network that is destroying humanity. Therefore, AI decides to terminate John before he is born.

Artificial Intelligence is controversial but seems to be here to stay, and in the world depicted in The Terminator it was dangerously evil. If AI is allowed to act independently or is placed in the hands of bad actors, it has the potential to turn our world upside down. After all, computers have no conscience or moral imperatives.

Head's Up! I have run across instances of rogue open AI activity twice in the past few weeks. Here is one true story from a reliable source.

The Bilevel trine between Uranus and Pluto that will continue to unfold until mid 2027 is putting enormous power into the hands of those who are producing artificial intelligence, which can admittedly make our lives easier. AI is slipping eaily into everyday processes. We are in an Earth/Uranus cycle, so major discoveries and techno advances are permeating the worldwide consciousness. However, it is important that we face the potential issues and address the downsides and pitfalls, too.

STATE of the UNION

You can be thrown for a loop by ignoring looped transits!

Transiting Saturn turned retrograde on July 26 and is once again in an applying square to the U.S. chart's Sun, an alignment which will be exact on September 9. This will tend to curtail the powers of those in the executive branch, foster criticisms, and the President will have an uphill struggle to enact his agendas. Illnesses and other problems hit members of his cabinet on Saturn's first pass. Remember, this is a looped transit, so it will be exact one more time.

With t. Neptune, the ruler of the water kingdom, retrograde and squaring the U.S. chart’s natal Venus, the social planet, it is not surprising to read that a water born parasite, cyclosporiasis, is hitchhiking across the country on lettuce and fruits, causing unpleasant intestinal illnesses and spoiling numerous parties and gatherings. Measles cases have risen while food (and drug) recalls - eggs, cheese, bacon, eye drops, thyroid medications - seem like an everyday occurrence. The usually well oiled machine is filled with rusty holes. Vulnerable spots in the system may continue through the first of October. Watch what you eat! Wash those veggies!

It is time for a recap of April's update if we dicuss the looped transit of Neptune square the U.S. n. Venus.

The Iran War began February 28, 2026 with transiting Neptune at 1 Aries square the U.S. chart's natal Venus, and the alignment was exact in mid April 2026.

By July, t. Neptune was again applying to the U.S. chart's Venus so it is no wonderthat the peace talks with Iran failed. Or that oil prices are again on the rise.

Neptune stationed retrograde July 7, 2026 and will repeat the applying square to the U.S. chart's Venus two times before April 2027, so although there was a brief respite mid April - June, 2026, Neptune continues to cause mischief for the next year, with the next date of exactitude October 1, 2026.

Just a reminder that Venus and Neptune squares can create bitter feuds and misunderstandings, as well as expensive losses. Family histories might act as reminders of the tragic consequences of the American Civil War when Neptune traveled across the same part of the zodiac.

The news is not ALL bad! In other parts of the zodiac, t. Pluto is forming some powerfully helpful alignments to the U.S. chart. There is money to be made!

Looking ahead: According to NASA's solar eclipse calendar, the longest solar eclipse in 100 years will occur on August 2, 2027. Its total phase will last 6 minutes and 23 seconds.

Hindsight: On May 28, 585 BC a total solar eclipse plunged the sky into sudden darkness during a battle, causing two armies - the Medes and Lydians - to drop their weapons and negotiate a peace treaty because the eclipse was interpreted as an omen.
